A reading list for women with depth, chaos, and excellent taste — oh, and we read female authors only.

🌞 August – The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
Sweeping, atmospheric, and rich with emotional detail — The Goldfinch is part art heist, part coming-of-age epic. It dives into loss, obsession, and beauty with a touch of chaos and a lot of heart. A slow burn that rewards your attention and stays with you long after the last page. The perfect late-summer read to get lost in.

The Goldfinch - August 24

🍂 September – Orlando by Virginia Woolf
A genre-defying, time-hopping delight. Orlando bends the rules of gender, identity, and narrative with playful wit and intellectual charm — the perfect way to kick off our reading season with curiosity and courage.

🎃 October – Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Soft, warm, and deeply nostalgic — Little Women is our comfort read for the coziest month. With gentle life lessons, sibling drama, and enduring love, it pairs perfectly with tea, blankets, and big feelings.

🌫 November – To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
This one’s all heart and quiet strength. A coming-of-age story that blends empathy, justice, and moral clarity — Mockingbird is as relevant as ever, offering space for reflection without heaviness.

🎄 December – Yellowface by R.F. Kuang
Fast-paced, razor-sharp, and wildly entertaining. Yellowface takes a sledgehammer to the publishing world and asks big questions about authorship, race, and ambition — the perfect finale to end the year with a bang (and a bit of scandal).
