I hope you’re having a blast this summer or planning to. If you’re not, or not yet, know that I get you. I mean, with sunny days around, basking outside already makes me feel better simply for existing. But I don’t ignore that summer might bring a little anxiety for some of us—FOMO blooms big this time of year.

I’ve been in this part of the planet for over four years, and I still haven’t gotten the urge to make summer plans. I’m not married to a Finn, if that counts on my side.

On top of not having summer plans (which is honestly good news!), I’ve picked up a freelance gig — a beautiful, heart-filled opportunity I couldn’t say no to. It does mean that summer will be enjoyed in the gaps… and a bit later on.

I’ll also be using this OOO period to do some house cleaning around here. Our platforms need tidying up 👀. I’ve made a bit of a mess testing everything under the sun to figure out what works best. I’ll spare you the boring details (but feel free to ask if you’re curious).

If you notice things shifting, please bear with me. There will be changes on the price and platform side. But don’t worry, your price will never increase as long as you keep your membership. And if it goes down, you’ll hear about it, so you can hop on at the lower price.

We’ll have a pop-up in Luxembourg! 🇱🇺
Can you believe it? We’re having a meetup in another country!

Why Luxembourg? Simple reason: we were lucky to have a person interested in making it happen as a host. She found the place, made a reservation, and we’re supporting with event management and to promote the meet-ups (soon there will be an event page to register!). If you have a friend in Luxembourg, send it to her immediately!

We couldn’t be happier to share the vibes we created with more women!

Vote for the books we’ll read next season 📚

We have over 40 book recommendations! 🤩

We created a long form with over 40 books that our community recommended! Big shout to Mari & Karina, who helped with the form! Each book title is linked to a Goodreads page, in case you don’t know the book.

You don’t need to vote for all the books, but please vote as much as you can. I encourage you to put yourself out there and facilitate a book meeting! It’s been amazing having different facilitators bringing different points of view. Really!

We don’t have a voting deadline, but you’ll be notified before we close it.

We got inspired by this Aerosmith t-shirt, and we’re planning to create a Secret Book Club Era t-shirt with all the names of the book and the person who facilitates the discussion. Something like this:
